The Pageant

Crazy....It sure is..I did go to the pageant. I did squeeze with the hundreds of people outside the auditorium waiting for the pageant to start. Im not sure but it felt like ive waited for 2 fucking hours. I was about to give up and go home to take a nice shower to take the icky germs off my body when they finally opened the door and invited people in....

I wanted to seat somewhere where he can see me. Unfortunately, the middle isle's occupied with the contestants' family and relatives...Bummer. No choice, my friend and i sat at the back of the people doing the lights and stuff...

After another hour of waiting, it started. it finally started and there he was with his vintage outfit. Too bad i missed the pre-pageant. He sang Iris there. He looked grat and dashing but he got an ugly question. So ugly that it makes me want to ask the judges why on earth do they make such broad and ugly questions..

What is life?...

What? Is this philosophy or something?! Man, the question's too broad that a lot of answers can be qualified and be questioned. I couldnt hear him coz the people were too noisy. I think he said something like: " life is a gift..it should be cherished"..yadayadayada...

So there, it was getting late and yeah, he didnt win...I wanted to go to the backstage but before that, i was trying to formulate a good thing to say to him. Like:

"it's going to be alright..you were great!"
"hey congratulations, great job"
"hi..you were great but the question you got is sucks!"

I was going crazy so i went home na lang. I was freaking tired and starving. But hey, why am i doing this for him? Why...?
